The InnovationAus RegTech Australia 2017 forum, supported by The RegTech Associationthis coming June, is the first in a series of forums that focuses on the delivery of regulatory requirements at a time when regulated industries are driving innovation, challenging current processes and seeking game changing ideas to stay ahead of competition – whilst having to balance this innovation with compliance.
The opportunities regulatory technology offers to lessen the operational and financial burdens in the risk and compliance space is hugely attractive - but the variety of available solutions is vast and constantly evolving; and the implementation process is fraught with challenges.
To address these challenges, InnovationAus.com has brought together the leaders of financial institutions with regulators and innovators, to give senior executives a better view on how to get past the talk and into collaborative action. This forum will provide information on how to build out the governance and the ecosystems required to manage regulatory reform in a better, faster, cheaper and safer manner.
Julian Fenwick, Chair of the RegTech Association will participate in the opening panel discussion and a key topic of the panel will be to gain a clear position of the Regulators on the right solutions and standards to be applied.
